Winchester 1873 Carbines

(9221-18-24) 73 SRC CALIBER 32-20

Overall gun is in nice condition with the wood having been lightly cleaned. It is not sanded, just a few light little compressions in it. Complete with a carbine style buttplate. VG plus shootable bore. Original sights include folding ladder marked 1873 rear sight and correct carbine style front sight. Overall gun retains 50-60% nickel. There is a Factory Letter on this gun but it doesn't mention the nickel. If it is not Winchester-applied nickel it is definitely of the period having been done when the gun was brand new. It gives every outward appearance of being correct. In fact I think it is. Mechanical condition is fine or excellent. Very nice markings. Correct dust cover and saddle ring. ~~> VIEW PHOTO <~~ e
